Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LiveGolfScoring.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform including organisers, players, volunteers, and spectators.

Description of Service

LiveGolfScoring is a web-based platform that enables golf clubs and tournament organisers to:

  • Create and manage golf tournaments and leagues
  • Generate draws, flights, and match play brackets
  • Manage player handicaps and registrations
  • Record and display live scores
  • Share public leaderboards and results

User Accounts

Registration

To access organiser features, you must register an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@livegolfscoring.com
  • Not share your account with others

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register an organiser account.

Subscriptions and Billing

Subscription Plans

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscription details, including pricing and feature inclusions, are displayed on our website at the time of purchase.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed on the cycle selected at the time of purchase (monthly or annual). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees.

Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days notice to registered subscribers. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Refund Policy

General Policy

Due to the digital nature of the Service, we do not offer refunds on subscription fees once a billing period has commenced, except as required by applicable law.

Exceptions

Refunds may be considered at our discretion in the following circumstances:

  • Technical failure on our part that prevents access to the Service for an extended period
  • Billing errors resulting in overcharges

To request a refund consideration, contact support@livegolfscoring.com within 7 days of the charge.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to the Service until that date.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the Service to conduct fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities
  • Enter false scores, manipulate handicaps, or misrepresent tournament results
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users accounts
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the platform without permission
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access or scrape the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Organiser Responsibilities

As an organiser, you are responsible for:

  • Obtaining appropriate consent from players before entering their personal data into the platform
  • Ensuring the accuracy of scores, handicaps, and tournament information you enter
  • Complying with any rules and regulations set by governing golf bodies (e.g. R&A, USGA, local unions)
  • Managing access to your account and any volunteers you grant scoring access to

Scoring Accuracy and Disclaimers

No Guarantee of Accuracy

While we provide tools to record and calculate golf scores, handicaps, and match results, we do not guarantee the accuracy of any scoring data, standings, or results displayed on the platform.

Organiser Responsibility

Tournament organisers are solely responsible for verifying and approving final results. LiveGolfScoring shall not be held liable for errors in scores entered by organisers, volunteers, or players.

Official Results

Results published on LiveGolfScoring are for informational purposes only and do not constitute official golf competition results unless explicitly confirmed by the relevant governing body or organiser.

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

All content, features, and functionality of LiveGolfScoring including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos are owned by Astute Solutions and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload or enter into the platform (such as club logos and event information). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, display, and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Restrictions

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Service Availability

Uptime

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astute Solutions shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits
  • Errors or inaccuracies in tournament results or scoring data
  • Interruptions to the Service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Astute Solutions, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Any content you submit or enter into the platform
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@livegolfscoring.com or using account settings.

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or harmful behaviour
  • Fail to pay applicable subscription fees

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
